Passionate Community Activist and Educator
A community activist and educator, Saturinus John Victorin or John as he is more commonly known, has a passion for development and national service. He has committed most of his life to serving his community and by extension his country. Prior to his entry into elective politics, John served on many local and regional organizations.
John was the President of the Canaries Youth and Sports Council, President of the Canaries Improvement Association, President of the Canaries Community Club, Chairman of the Canaries Village Council, Chairman of the West Coast Credit Union, and the CARM Development Foundation all of which have contributed to his experience, and in the process intensified his passion and commitment to the community development movement.
His professional background as a school teacher, a former Programmes Officer of the National Youth Council, and a member of the management team at the National Skills Development Centre, has further contributed to enhancing his ability to serve the people of the constituency of Anse La Raye/Canaries.
John brings to the Saint Lucia Labour Party, tremendous experience in the areas of social development and education and his continued participation in community work will undoubtedly assist him in serving and transforming the lives of the people of Anse La Raye/Canaries as the constituency’s next Member of Parliament.
